Amerer Air was founded in 1995 by Captain Heinz Peter Amerer as an independent all cargo airline.
The foundation of the international airline and highway distributor is based upon the many years of experience gained as a flight commander and operation manager. Safety and reliability are the corner stone of this privately owned company, with his qualified and highly motivated employees, guarantees Amerer Air maximum of flexibility at highly competitive rates.
The airline began with one Fokker F27, from which Amerer Air grew into a recognised and established logistic centre in the heart of Europe, with a fleet of Austrian registered cargo aeroplanes and the latest specification of long distance trucks.
Amerer Air, based at Linz Airport, is Austria's largest all cargo carrier and is proud of its high quality transportation business, serving major freight forwarders, express cargo companies, private shippers, integrated parcel carriers and Governments.
