Our History
Cellcard has been Cambodia's preferred pre-paid phone card since it first appeared on the market in 1998. And because of its great range of services, Cellcard remains the first choice for over 650,000 subscribers.
In May 2002 the MobiTel Foundation was launched to encourage cooperation between business groups and local community groups. The Foundation also provides ongoing support to local NGO Mith Samlanh/Friends.
In June 2003, the first MobiTel Foundation Children's Fund got underway. From 70 nationwide applications, five projects were commended for their work in helping Cambodian children. They included: a new school in Kompong Thom; English lessons for children in Kompong Pring; a culture camp in Kompong Cham; a vocational training course for neglected children in Siem Reap and a peer-support and health education camp run in four provinces.
