China Radio International
China Radio International , (CRI) is the only overseas
broadcaster in the People's Republic of China. CRI was founded
on December 3, 1941 and is owned and operated by the state.

CRI is one of the "three central media organizations in China"
along with China National Radio (CNR) and China Central
Television (CCTV).

English Service is one of CRI's most important divisions. It is widely acknowledged that the CRI English Service provides the world with one of the most efficient and convenient ways of learning about China.

The programs broadcast by the English Service are comprehensive. They focus mainly on news but include a variety of feature programs. Music programs, such as Easy Morning, Music Memories and The Pulse, are also popular for CRI's domestic listeners. Our domestic channel Easy FM has become the first choice of domestic listeners who want to keep up with current affairs, learn English and enjoy music.

The entire staff of the English Service is dedicated to serving our listeners in order to build a bridge for the Chinese people to learn about the world and for the people around the globe to get to know China.

CRIENGLISH.com is the official English website of CRI, providing comprehensive information on both Chinese and international topics. Through our website users can read program transcripts, view illustrations and hear our English radio programs.

We are striving to act as a medium to introduce China to the world and provide you with the best service possible.
