Copterline
Copterline Ltd is a registered limited company, established in 2000. It was formerly known as Copter Action Ltd and Helicopter Service Ltd, founded in 1960. Copterline is currently the biggest company in Finland in the business of helicopter operations and maintenance. Copterline is also one of the largest European helicopter businesses. The entire consortium employs about 100 aviation professionals at the moment. In the past 40 years, Copterline has employed its fleet in a variety of functions in different parts of the world. In Finland, Copterline is a pioneer in the field of rescue and medical emergency service.

Copterline's maritime activities include, for example, rescue flights on icebreakers. As required, the company makes charter flights and other arrangements customised to suit the client's needs. Copterline's licence and fleet also enable and its staff are prepared to engage in aerial photographing, power line inspection, research, fertilizing and reindeer husbandry flights. Copterline started scheduled operation between Helsinki and Tallinn on 5 May 2000 with new Sikorsky S-76 C+ helicopters.

In early spring 2008, Copterline resumed regular operations between Helsinki and Tallinn with a new AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter. In the beginning, flights were on working days only, but as soon as the other AW139 helicopter became ready for service in autumn 2008, scheduled flights are now operated also on weekends.

Considering the entry into force of new Joint Aviation Requirements JAR OPS 3 in Europe on 1 August 1999, Copterline is the first Finnish helicopter operator with a JAR OPS-3 Certificate. The helicopter maintenance certificate is JAR 145.
