How to Expot to Equatorial Guinea
Import License and Document Requirements

IMPORT LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Imports valued at more than 50,000 francs are subject to licensing and must be executed through an authorized bank. Licenses and payments are routinely approved in Equatorial Guinea. Contractors importing equipment and supplies related to public contracts can obtain a special tax-free exception from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Special import provisions are applicable to foreign investors operating in Equatorial Guinea. Equato-Guinean customs officials require a commercial invoice and a bill of lading (or airway bill) for all goods entering the country. Shipping marks and numbers on bills of lading should correspond exactly with those on the invoices and on the goods. Three copies of invoices are requested for surface shipments and four copies for air shipments.

Embassy has no information available on special import/export requirements and certifications.
