Latvia Flag has two maroon stripes with a white strip in between them. The ratio of the stripes is 2:1:2 which means that the maroon bands are twice in width to the central white band. The ratio of the Latvia Flag length to its width is 1:2. The Latvia flag was officially adopted on 27 th February 1990 though it was the second time of adoption of the Latvia National flag .
