About us
Since 25 years passengers as well as experts appreciate the excellent service of Lauda Air. This is reflected in numerous international awards. Since 1993 Lauda Air has received more than 40 prizes for its outstanding service on board and other quality features. Among other awards, in the German economic magazine "Capital" Lauda Air was honoured for several years in a row as "Airline of the Year".
It all began in 1979 with two small Fokker 27 aircraft. Nowadays, Lauda Air has a modern fleet that connects Austria with the most beautiful holiday destinations in the Caribbean and in South East Asia as well as in Europe. Long-haul dream destinations such as Dominican Republic, Cuba, Tobago, Jamaica or the Maldives and Sri Lanka are offered. Mauritius is the most recent addition to the attractive network. A dynamic development that is based upon the realization of the Lauda Air philosophy: "Service is our success". The airline was always eager to offer its passenger that "little bit extra" and to differentiate its product from its competitors.
