The Puerto Rico National Flag was acquired on 25 th July in the year of 1952.The Puerto Rico Flag is comprised with five alternating white and red bands of colors. On the left hand side of the Puerto Rican flag, there is a distinct white star with five tips depicted in a blue trilateral. The white star symbolizes for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico whereas the three sides of the equal sided triangle jointly stands for the three subdivisions as executive, legislative and judicial of the Republican government .The three red bands denote the blood shed that promotes those sections of the government. The two white bands stand for the civil right in addition to the liberty of people. All of these interpretations are the continuous memento of the requirement of alertness of an autonomous government.
