About
"Radio Imedi" is the first and the only non-state radio station in Georgia, functioning with a broadcasting format. "Radio Imedi" was aired at the frequency of 105'9 MHz. of FM Diapason in the December of 2001 in Tbilisi. Since the 17-th of December of 2003 "Radio Imedi" is being broadcasted actually in all settled territory of Georgia. The airtime of "Radio Imedi" is 24 hours a day.

"Radio Imedi" is basically concentrated on the news. At the beginning of each hour you may hear comprehensive and detailed news broadcasts. While in the middle of an hour you have the possibility to learn brief political developments. Daily news-analytical program - "Prime Today" broadcasts current essential political processes in Georgia and outside the country. Each day, once an hour, you are provided with the Sports News by the sports editorial staff. "News Channel of the Day" broadcasts brief reviews of Georgian and foreign press, important events of cultural sphere of the country, interesting topics from economic and fiscal spheres, live conversations on vital issues of the society. Besides the news broadcasts and projects, "Radio Imedi" offers you various interesting educational and authorial programs as well.

As for a musical format, songs heard in "Radio Imedi" are well-known to the audience, of the age of more than 25 years. This are Georgian and foreign variety songs of seventies, eighties and nineties.
