Sonofon Denmark
Sonofon was set up in 1991 and is now one of the largest mobile telcos in Denmark with a headcount of about 1,400.

Sonofon is owned by Telenor, one of the biggest telcos in the Nordic countries with mobile operations in 12 countries worldwide and a strong Nordic-based business in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Sonofon and Cybercity together with CBB and Tele2 Danmark constitute Telenor Group telecoms activities in Denmark. Together we have 1,7 million mobile customers and 250.000 DSL customers. Cybercity is nowadays one of DenmarkÌs largest broadband providers. Together we are setting the agenda for the telecoms market of the future with strong positions in mobility and broadband.

Telenor Danmark Holding A/S owns and is the parent company for four operating companies:

* Sonofon A/S, which holds the licences for the GSM900 and the GSM1800 mobile telephone network.
* Cybercity A/S
# Sonofon Partner A/S is a procurement and marketing company which also administers our network of dealerships. Sonofon's network of sales outlets consisted 1st December 2006 of 91 shops nationwide.
# CBB Mobil A/S Offers mobile telefony under its own brand to consumer and business markets. Founded October 2000 under the name of Clubblahblah, but two years later it changed its name to CBB Mobil. Sonofon's acquisition of CBB took place in April 2004.
# Tele2 Danmark A/S. Acquisition took place the 12th of July 2007.
