Southern Skyways (www.southernskyways.com) was established by Aviation Advantage Inc. to meet the air transportation needs of the leisure industry. The Southern Skyways management team has created and operated numerous tour programs, including air, hotel and ground services, to Caribbean and domestic destinations since 1980 serving millions of travelers over that time span. Nobody does it better than us.
Aviation Advantage works with underserved cities and destinations in an air service development capacity. The company not only identifies the most viable routes, it also has the ability to establish air service to meet the demand. These initiatives are generally characterized as community air service programs planned and implemented with the cooperation of airports, tourism entities and local governments to increase passengers. Aviation Advantage is a turn-key operation, including compliance with DOT regulations for public charters (escrow accounts, bonds, routes and schedules filings), reservations, advertising, yield management, branding of the service and all of the supporting airport and flight operations. As an example, the company initiated service in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Florida in concert with the Lehigh Valley International Airport as Lehigh Valley Air in 2005.
