The Taimi ‘o Tonga is the flagship newspaper of Lali Media Group Ltd, being published in Auckland, New Zealand, twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays; with a separate edition for Tonga.

Tonga’s international newspaper is in its 18th year of publication, with distribution in Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, and USA.

From humble beginnings in April 1989, Taimi ‘o Tonga has grown to be the main print media in the Tongan communities throughout the world. Even though the distribution is international, news coverage and advertising are specially geared to the Tongan communities in Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, and more recently USA.

Lali Media Group Ltd. is a New Zealand registered limited liability company, which also the Indian Tribune published fortnightly. It also produces radio news programs for broadcast in the United States.

Our main newsroom is in Nuku’alofa, Tonga; production and printing is done out of Auckland, New Zealand. We also have offices in Sydney, Australia; Honolulu, Hawaii; and San Francisco, USA.
