Zain (formerly MTC) was founded in 1983 and has developed into a group of 21 operations from across the Middle East and African regions, offering services to over 32 million customers.
In 2004, Zain (then MTC) was awarded a contract (effective June 1st) with the Lebanese Government to manage and further develop a national GSM network covering all the Lebanese territories, as mtc touch.
