Aero Slovakia
The company AERO SLOVAKIA a.s. was founded in 1992 by the privatisation of previously well known company Slovair, which had been operating within the whole Czechoslovakia. Nowadays it is the biggest general aviation operator in Slovakia. The main scope of company business are special aerial works mostly in agriculture and forestry, patrol and monitor flights, fire rescue flights, photo flights, advertisement and promotion, sightseeing and training flights, rent of airplanes and real estates. The company has also its own flight school. Aircraft fleet consist of 45 airplanes of 10 different types (Z-37A, Z-37-2, Z-37T, Z-137T, AN-2, Z-42M, Cessna 150, 152, 172, 172RG - IFR equipped). The headquarters office of the company is located at Nitra airport (LZNI), where is situated also the main service centre of the company, which performs the maintenance on company's fleet and aircraft of other customers. AERO SLOVAKIA a.s. owns another two facilities similar to those in Nitra. One of them is situated at LuÀenec (LZLU) airport in the south east part of Slovakia and the other one is at HolÃÀ airport (LZHL) located in the western part of Slovakia near the border with the Czech Republic.
