Africa One
When astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin first stepped onto the moon in 1969, one would have expected them to be filled with awe by their surroundings or overwhelmed by their accomplishment.

What left them awed and humbled was, instead, the view of home.

Two hundred and fifty thousand miles away, our One Earth was suspended in space Ò no lines between countries and no divisions between people. One Earth, one planet, one humanity.

We are all part of that vast oneness. We simply cannot draw fictitious lines within this unity if we are to solve the catastrophic situations that threaten us all. With each revolution of our planet, we move one day closer to true solutions and global unification, or we allow illusory divisions to tear our world apart. It is our choice.

If we were able to stand in space and envision lines on our planet, our remote view might lend us fresh perspective; we would cease to focus on geographical boundaries, and begin to see the world in terms of timelines.

If we traced those timelines backward, back from each of us to the very beginning of mankind Ò literally to the cradle of civilization Ò they would eventually all unite, converging upon Africa.

We are a grassroots, for-impact organization dedicated to improving conditions for the African people at the fundamental level of life. We believe unity is the keyÛstarting with grant makers and non-government organizations (NGOs).

Africa As One is the result of over four and a half years of research into the peoples and cultures of Africa, studying the economy and needs of each region to develop Ïbest practiceÓ models that outline what is working and what is not.

The Africa As One initiatives resolve serious issues that the African people are facing and positively impact the foundational needs of society, such as healthcare and education.

Our focus is on creating self-sufficiency. Rather than opening our own offices and clinics in Africa, we are educating grant makers, who in turn can help NGOs achieve accountability, transparency, and integrity.

Our team includes inspirational visionaries, experts in the field of medicine and other disciplines, and a talented group of professionals who have come on board to support the vision.

Based in Malibu, California, Africa As One is a 501 (c)(3) direct-service nonprofit organization. But beyond that, the essence of the organization is Ïfor-impact.Ó We are focused on making fundamental positive changes in people's lives Û on changing their basic circumstances and the ways that people think.
