Air Macau
Air Macau was established on 13 September 1994.? Its commercial inauguration was on 09 November 1995. Air Macau is a regional company based in Macau. At the moment, our destinations include Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin, Haikou, Sanya, Kunming, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Changsha, Guiyang, Osaka, Manila, Seoul, Busan, Bangkok, Kaohsiung and Taipei.
In the fleet of Air Macau, there are 7 Airbus A321, 1 Airbus A320, 5 Airbus A319, 1 Airbus A300-600R and 5 A300B4F freighters. With the average fleet age of Air Macau is the youngest team in Asia.
There are 982 staffs in Air Macau on 31 August 2007. Among them, some come from Macau (28%). Others come from 28 countries and regions from all over the world. The average age of our staff is 28 years old.
Since its inception, Air Macau has been playing a vital and significantly important role in the air transportation of passengers across the Taiwan Strait. Right now every week, the airline offers more than 100 round trip flights between Macau and Taipei/Kaohsiung.
Air Macau's vital role in proving the cross-Strait air service is also reflected in its unique product, one plane service cross the strait, it has been offering since its birth in late 1995. When our passengers who travel between Taiwan and cities in mainland, they just go through a very brief transfer procedure in the International Airport of Macau with their hand luggage and stay about 30 minutes in the departure lobby there. Then they could take the flight again to the destination. At the same time, Air Macau could provide the services of getting inland Entry Endorsement for the Taiwanese passengers on the flight.
With the fast development of economy in Macau in recent years, specially after Macau was listed in the World Culture Heritage by UNESCO, Air Macau is transporting more and more tourist to Macau not only cross the strait but from other countries of Asia as well, such as: South Korea, Japan, etc.
Air Macau launches its new Privileges mileage frequent flyer program to recognize and reward its most loyal passengers from February 1st, 2005. Air Macau's Privileges offers passengers the most generous redemption scheme of any frequent flyer program in Asia, allowing loyal Air Macau passengers to redeem free air tickets and Business Class upgrades quickly and effortlessly.
The one plane service of cargo by Air Macau has been developing fast in recent years.
Air Macau always focus on the customer satisfaction and got the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management certificate on 23 Dec 2005.
Air Macau provides the convenient transportation services for the local citizens, and also contributes to the local economic development and the cultural exchange of cross-Strait.
