On the threshold of the twenty-first century, amaszonas is born in the heart of South America thanks to the passion and tenacious response to the challenge of a group of young entrepreneurs committed to aviation.
Today, after more than 197,000 satisfied passengers and 450 tons of cargo taken to their destination, we continue with the same baggage of values minted during our take-off. We have meanwhile been consolidated as an airline developing national and sub-regional tourism and integration. Pilots with ample experience in operating in high mountains and tropical forests fly for you our fleet of last-generation airplanes, duly certified to operate in airports at considerable altitudes and on dirt landing strips.
Essentially, we are committed to constant hard work and efforts to offer excellent and reliable transportation services, taking you from places where long centuries ago pre-Inca cultures settled on the highest spots of the Andes to tropical paradises in the forests and savannahs in the northwest part of the country.
La Paz and Santa Cruz, as the centers of origin of our flying routes, are the starting points for this tremendous journey, during which you are offered a chance for reencountering the magic of the Highlands in the Uyuni Salt Lake or Lake Titicaca, the fabulous flora and fauna of the Madidi National Park, the extensive lowlands in Beni and even the unique experience of discovering the pictorial art and baroque music of the Jesuit Missions in the Bolivian Amazon.
