Anadolu Agency (AA), set up on April 6th, 1920 by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Founder of the Modern Turkish Republic, is the biggest news agency of Turkey and one of the prominent wire services of the world.

With its 28 regional offices within the country and 22 bureaus in foreign countries, AA instantly informs its subscribers about the developments in Turkey and in the world with around 700-800 news stories and around 200 photographs, daily.

The motto of AA which uses ''satellite technologies'' to transmit news stories and photographs, is ''rapid, objective and accurate journalism''. AA also conforms to public interest principles.

AA delivers more than 200 of new photos everyday. Under many different titles extending from politics to social incidents, from sports to daily life, from economy to culture and art, the greatest moments are captured by AA photo reporters working all around Turkey.

There are more than 5 million negatives and more than 100.000 digital images in our archive which includes all significant events since 1969. The archive which also meets the demands of advertising agencies along with internet media and newspaper, periodical and book publishers provides its users with many visual alternatives on the subject of their interest with its strong technical infrastructure.

Special Bulletin

Anadolu Agency (AA), which continously updates itself in line with the requirements of information and news flow, chooses and sums up 700-1000 daily news reports in appropriate formats and rewrite them for internet news portals and GSM operators.

Thousands of files are also prepared under the title of ''Yellow Pages'' for the same institutions.

Weekly cinema guide, pharmacies on duty, developments in stock exchange, foreign exchange rates, weather forecast and cultural and artistic activities are conveyed to subscribers instantly via new AA technologies.
