The flag of Anguilla comprises of a Blue Ensign with the British flag in the upper left and the coat of arms of Anguilla in the lower right corner. The coat of arms consists of three dolphins, which stand for friendship, wisdom and strength. The present Anguilla flag is the third flag of the Island. The island's first flag was widely disliked and was replaced by the Dolphin flag during its time of independence.
