Badr Airlines
BADR AIRLINES is a private owned company established in 1997 and registered in Sudan under the Companies Act of 1925. The company is mainly engaged in cargo transportation and occasionally provides charter VIP flights. The company is holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) meeting the requirements of the Air act of 1999 and the Air Aviation Organization (ICAO). The following categories are covered under this AOC small aircraft, large aircraft, and light aircraft for both Passenger & Cargo transportation. The AOC also including helicopter operations.
Through accurate regular and charter services, the company has gained a good reputation as a carrier for a variety of customers in both the governmental and the private sector.

Additional responsibilities were added to the company by participating in the field of air relief projects in the Southern & Western part of Sudan and also in the last 3 years been the handling agent for all air operations for the Joint Military Commission Nuba Mountains Sudan. During this period the company has gained significant experience with respect to planning and conducting military flight operations in support of peace support operation.
As part of the airline activities BADR lately engages seismic operations in Sudan, and additional support operations including, land and sea transport inclusive camp construction and other minor engineering projects.

Air craft Maintenance:
Air craft maintenance is conducted according to the respective maintenance manuals for each air craft type and issued by the respective production plant for the air craft.Periodic checks are carried out in Moscow. Line maintenance in Kharkov Russia and periodic line maintenance at plant 410 in the Ukraine.
Up to 1500 hours checks for Helicopters are done in Kadugli and Khartoum Sudan and any maintenance above that are done in Russia at Novosibirsk Aircraft Repair Plant (NARP). BADR Airlines is yearly audited by the Civil Aviation Authority in Sudan (ICAO member) in order to maintain its air operator certificate.
All audit controls have been passed with the highest marks. Airworthiness matters are controlled by the Executive Manager in liaison with the Engineering Manager responsible to CAA.
