About CPI Corporate Publishing International: Delivering IT content and end user education through innovation

In the IT domain, no other company can claim to have access to a rich repository of content, resources and events as CPI-IDG. Through our partnership with IDG, CPI has turned itself not just into a premier IT publisher, but also looks at itself as a regional content supplier, capable of supplying content to suit the varied needs of the region.

As an active IDG partner for the region, CPI has been able to mould itself to mirror the IDG culture of innovation and using content as a key driver of the business. CPI today has the distinction of not only publishing successfully some of the world’s best known IT titles, but has also been able to independently grow the business around its portfolio of magazines.

CPI has always been a nimble market player, quick to market with innovative ideas, thanks to a dedicated team of specialists who think on their feet.

We publish regional versions of some of the world’s best known and respected IT magazines. CPI’s titles include:

Computer News Middle East

For any serious IT player in the Middle East, there are key market sectors that are easy to list - government, energy, banking, education, health, hospitality and so on.

For more than a decade and a half, Computer News Middle East has been the link between the regional IT player and these key target markets. It has driven the messages of local relevance, business benefit and technology into focus for these decision makers.

The magazine covers all the important market sectors in depth, combining interviews, best practice case studies, news analysis and market trends through focused sections.

Network World Middle East

Networking is no longer about product. It's about solutions. It's about strategy. It's about vision.

For over six years, Network World Middle East has led the Middle East with a combination of forward-looking editorial, grounded in local reality. From details of cutting-edge technology to explanations of technical buzzwords in clear language, from demonstrations of networking advances in the region to details of solutions offered by key players, from case studies to exclusive interviews, Network World Middle East has provided strategic vision for senior management and tactical advice for networking professionals.

The magazine focuses on core areas of the industry where vendors strive to explain their technologies and where customers need to understand their solutions.

SMB Advisor Middle East

SMBs have it tough, balancing between limited resources and making investments to grow the business. Keeping pace with industry trends has also become critical to growth, and in particular still remains as one of those things that falls through the cracks, until there is a problem.

So how do small and medium sized businesses build a healthy operation and prepare to retain their competitive advantage? And how do you, as a vendor, tap into this lucrative, yet highly spread out segment that currently represents 85% of the Middle East market place? Armed with more practical advice, case studies, market research, tips and tricks to help your business grow, the new SMB Advisor comes packed with information - from business advice to financial planning; technology investments to product knowledge; Training and logistics to HR development and truly become your trusted partner for growth.

Reseller World Middle East Total

In the last few years, the distribution model has changed almost out of recognition. Multi-tier, value-add, just-in-time, system integration and so much more. Supporting the distribution channel, Reseller World Middle East is, quite simply, the voice of the IT channel in the region. Through round tables and a constant process of talking to real people in the channel, Reseller World Middle East brings together the industry in a way no other magazine can manage.

As well as traditional channel issues, the magazine covers key areas such as IT/electronics convergence, skills and training, sourcing and logistics. There are many voices in the channel, but only one voice for the channel.

All of CPI’s titles have established themselves as preferred titles for the discerning reader, keen for the best in IT news and products. Of special mention is our focus and capability in enabling IT education and awareness across the SMB, technology and enterprise sectors. Using content as a vehicle, CPI today offers both digital as well as print publications to tell the story of how IT can benefit the region as a whole.

Leveraging global connections through IDG

Benefiting from technology today is all about best practice – something that CPI has always led the way with.

As part of a global family of over 300 IDG publications, CPI has over the years built a portfolio of world-class magazines. Now, it is a time of convergence as we integrate the on-line world with print to deliver on an end-to-end digital platform.

CPI has remained focused on putting together global resources, adding a strong local view and delivering solutions for the region. CPI also pioneered the use of digital technology to ensure the widest possible dissemination of its magazines across the region and beyond. That's why we signed up with US-based Zinio, the leader in delivering on-line magazines through subscriptions.

All of CPI's IT magazines are available free in digital editions, to complement the controlled circulation of print copies across the Middle East. Zinio technology allows the instant and mass distribution of new issues and offers a reliable audit of readership.

Beyond content

Although CPI began as an IT content provider, our magazines have grown to be more than that. As preferred platforms for the industry and end user community to come together, CPI IT has been championing innovative ideas in the form of industry handbooks, events and awards programmes.

Here is a quick overview of some of our most successful projects so far:

Educational handbooks and guides: CPI has been a leading publisher of well rounded technology handbooks and guides for C-level executives including well-known ones like the CNME Best Practice Guide, Network World’s CIO Survival Guide and a range of product centric guides.
