Clickair
clickair is the commercial name for clickair, S.A., a company registered in 2006 for the creation and operation of a new regular airline. The founding partners, each with 20% of the total shares, are Cobra, a Service Company belonging to Grupo ACS, Iberia LÃneas A»reas airlines, Iberostar tour operators, Nefinsa, and the venture capital fund Quercus Equity (Grupo Agrolimen). The companyÌs Board of Directors is composed of ten members, two representing each partner.

CLICKAIR holds Air Operator's Certificate number E-AOC-081, issued on 27 September 2006 by the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation

clickairÌs head office and its central base of operations is El Prat airport, located in Barcelona, where the company offices are established.

clickairÌs business model and the success of clickairÌs strategy
clickair was born of the desire of its partners to create a leading European actor in the category of the so called Ïlow costÓ airline operators, currently the fastest growing commercial aviation sector in the world. The main reasons behind the success of clickairÌs strategy are the optimisation of point-to-point daily flights of Airbus A-320 aircraft; the general cost structure, which is far below the average offered by conventional airlines (except in security and technical maintenance quality); and the operation of high-demand routes, with the objective of obtaining a greater occupancy of planes on each flight. From these factors and others derives the clickair Effect.

The clickair Effect offers direct benefits to the passenger:

Safety as our primary objective
The best fares at clickair.com.
The best costumer service. Absolute punctuality and no overbooking.
Flexibility and reliability.
Top destinations, the finest airports and the best timetables.
Value-added Services never before seen in low cost models, which will be added gradually.

Bases
clickairÌs base of operations is BarcelonaÌs El Prat airport, the starting and end point for most of its routes. In a near future Ònot before 2007- sub-bases will be opened in other major Spanish cities. The existence of sub-bases will mean that some clickair planes and their corresponding crews will have their place of ÏresidenceÓ at these airports. The creation of sub-bases will depend on the potential development of point-to-point routes that have a point of origin and place of destination other than Barcelona.

Routes
clickairÌs strategic plan provides for a total of 70 routes to 55 Spanish and European cities by the end of 2008, when all 30 above-mentioned aircraft are fully operational. A thorough study of the market potential of routes to Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean area will be carried out.
