What is the goal of Croatian Chronicle?
This newspaper is targeted solely at the activities and interests of Croatian-Americans and their communities and is here to provide a better understanding of each other and of our Croatian roots. It is a new way for Croatian-Americans to stay connected, both with each other and their homeland.
Who started Croatian Chronicle?
The newspaper was started by a group of young Croatian journalists and professionals from the New York area and has been supported by many Croatian-American clubs and organizations in New York, Chicago, Cleveland, San Pedro, and LA, numerous individuals and business people of Croatian descent as well as the New York Croatian Parish and Croatian churches in California, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, and Ontario.
How is Croatian Chronicle financed?
A large part of the newspaperĂs revenues are generated from advertisements. Croatian-owned businesses such as restaurants, bars, tax-preparation offices, physicians, dentists, attorneys, and various stores advertise in the newspaper. The second largest source is subscriptions. We hope you too will subscribe and support your new newspaper, or consider getting a subscription for a loved one.
