DAP Helicopters
DAP HELICOPTERS S.A. provides the services of Offshore transportation for ENAP in Chile and SIPETROL in Argentina. This service consists of transporting people and load from and to the offshore platforms that are extracting petroleum.
The relief of personnel is a difficult operation that takes place in about 30 platforms. It demands a high level of coordination between the DAP Helicopters S.A. and the operators of the platforms, and also the accuracy of the pilots for not committing mistakes in the operation.
Other specialized service carried out by our company is the "Inspection of the polyducts", which consists of flying over hundreds of kilometers of oil ducts along the region, searching for possible leaks.
This overflight allows detecting them quickly and taking corrective measures immediately.
DAP HELICOPTERS S.A. has "Cranes" for the transportation of cargo; because of the maneuverability of the helicopters, this can be quickly delivered to places of difficult access, which increases the efficacy of any work requiring this system of transportation, specially in craggy places. Apart from this, it is mainly necessary when rescuing people.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
The air filming is an additional service of our Company. It consists of the rental of the helicopters, generally by foreign TV Channels, to make reports about the landscapes and the tourism in the region; spot advertisements and news covering of special events like boat races around the world that sail through the Cabo de Hornos, and others.
