Dominica flag consists of a green background on which in the middle there is a red circle. In the middle of the red circle there is the national bird of Dominica , a Sisserou parrot. Encircling the parrot there are ten green stars whose edges are of yellow color . These stars represent the ten administrative parts of Dominica . There are three parallel bands of yellow, black and white running horizontally and vertically to each other making a cross in the middle of the flag on which the red disk is set. The cross and its three color represent Dominica's Christian faith.
