Ecuador Reporter
Ecuador Reporter
Ecuador is the best country in the world for me and to have the opportunity of working here has been fantastic.
I have had the pleasure of running The Ecuador Reporter now for a year and so far it has been a great adventure. All of the journalists that work on the paper are volunteers and have been truly outstanding in some of there work. They came here to get experience in the field of journalism, learn a new language and experience a new culture.
To have the beach, mountains and jungle all in one setting gives me an easy job of finding stories every month and give wannabe travel journalists a real chance of getting copy into print.
We have also, however, reported on some international news stories including the tragic bus crash that led to the death of the five British women.
As well as the plane crash in Quito, November 2007.
But essentially the way I see our job is to promote this country as far as we can and I think so far, that is exactly what we have done.
