Electronic Lebanon - Crisis Appeal

The moment news broke of Israel's massive assault targeting Lebanon's civilians and destroying its painstakingly rebuilt infrastructure on July 12, The Electronic Intifada team moved into high gear. Within hours we launched a dedicated site, Electronic Lebanon, providing eyewitness accounts, commentary and multimedia coverage of the ongoing tragedy. If you value high quality, up-to-date and cutting edge independent analysis of the crises in the region, we urge you to consider supporting us with a contribution today. [MORE]

Donate to support the work of the Electronic Intifada

Despite its quality, frequency, and outreach, the Electronic Intifada's 2002 expenditure was just $39,000. In 2003, we expect to have spent $50,000, and in 2004 we estimate our needs will reach $60,000. While our needs are growing, our entire budget could not pay the salary of a single foreign correspondent from a major news organization! This page offers information about EI's running costs and ways to support EI financially. [MORE]

Get E-mail Updates from the Electronic Intifada

The Electronic Intifada maintains three e-mail lists, the Newslist of the Electronic Intifada and the Newslist of Electronic Iraq, both of which are general announcement and news lists which keeps you up to date with additions to the sites, important announcements, and general EI news; and the EI/eIraq Weekday Press Picks List, a joint mailing list from the Electronic Intifada and sister Electronic Iraq project, which offers a summary of key media coverage in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and the US-Iraq crisis.
