In 1997, a group of international airline executives felt the time had come to provide travelers with a cheap airfares in Europe equivalent to Rail passes.
One year later, the EuropeByAir FlightPass was launched at press conferences in Los Angeles and at the United Nations building in New York. The concept was simply to combine the routes flown by airlines in different countries into a European wide route network by offering cheap air fares for flights within Europe and simple, flexible conditions regarding changes.
EuropeByAir has since expanded its airline products to flights beyond Europe and has established sales offices in Asia, the Pacific and South America.

Each of the carriers in our Flight Pass program are well known in their own countries. Individually, they have little presence outside of Europe, however, EuropeByAir combines their routes into a vast inter-Europe network of direct and connecting flight possibilites. Advance reservations with simple, flexible change conditions are designed to make itinerary planning for international travellers easy, fast and economical.
In addition to our Flight Pass carriers EuropebyAir has expanded its flight programs to include major airlines who fly to Europe, and low cost carriers who fly within Europe and beyond to Turkey and Egypt.
Because it is such a great service, we also added the "train that flies', via the Chunnel between London and Paris.
