France Flag flagsoftheworld
The France Flag is a union of three bands of dominant colors like red, blue and white, and hence, the french flag is more popularly referred to as the French tricolor . The French Revolution is more responsible for bringing France National flag into existence. In the July of 1789 during those turbulent years a rosette gave rise to the idea of the present French tricolor.

The tricolor was influenced largely by the Paris coat of arms which used red and blue as the dominant colors in the French rosettes. The pristine white denoting the French royalty was thought most suitable as a divider between the colors of the rosette. The France Flag although was inspired by the Dutch tricolor yet, throughout the centuries other European countries seem to have been more influenced by the French tricolor.
