FREEBIRD is an international charter airline operating worldwide established in June 2000 and started operations in 2001 with 3 medium range MD83 aircrafts. Currently with the fleet of 3 Airbus A320s and 2 A321s, FREEBIRD has managed to attract attention with the consistent developments among the Turkish private air forwarders. Besides, FREEBIRD has three core activities: passenger/cargo transport, engineering & maintenance and flight crew training. These activities are carried out under the regulation of the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
FREEBIRD is a company of G˜ZEN Group, supplying ground services to more than 85 companies in the field of representation, fuel, supervision, brokerage and security. Mekin G˜ZEN and Mete BOZYõñõT are the founders of G˜ZEN Group with a respected past of 26 years in the sector and FREEBIRD continues its operations with its experienced team under the management of õzzet T?kenmez .
By striving to attain excellence as an airline, we intend to generate value for our customers, employees and shareholders. Thus we are the first airline in Turkey that has been granted ISO 9001:2000 Certification by TUV Rheinland at July 2001 and has been again the first charter airline that achieved IOSA Registration granted by IATA at the end of July 2006.
