Portal of the State information resources gov.uz is the main and official State information resources in the global computer net of Internet.

Creation and support of Government Internet - Portal is realized according to plan of measures on working out and baking of Portal of the State information resources gov.uz confirmed by the Coordination Council for Development of Computerization and Information Communication Technology and by laws’ of the Republic of Uzbekistan On Telecommunication and On Informatization.

Portal of the State information resources gov.uz is the system-educated elements of infrastructure of electron interaction of organs of the State Authority and administration, supporting processes and procedures of functional activities of organs of the State Authority.

The main purposes
Creation specialized information systems, meant for expansion of volume of information resources and service, leaving the citizens and managing bodies by organs of Authority and administration, forming mechanism of social control of their activity;
Ensure with information on activity of Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ensure the whole auditorium of Government Internet-portal with widely choose of information, reflecting official position of organs of the State Authority and administration, fully, operative and comfortable for using information about the activities of organs of the State Authority and administration, on flowing out the rights and the responsibilities of citizen, on possibilities and procedures of interaction with necessary departments;
Ensure the citizens’ access and organizations to official information on activities of the State organs of Executive Power, with the exception of information, pertaining to information limited access, by means of placing and creation the appropriate information resources;
Intensification of interstate exchange of information;
Creation the condition for rising international authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan and attracting the foreign investment to the national economy;

Ensure with information interaction of organs of State Authority and administration;
Horizontal exchange of information on the level of "government" between the state departments in prescribe format presentation information;
Jointly using the unique information resources on the base of centralizing database;
Vertical information exchange of economic, rights’, statistic, electoral information;
