How to Export To Botswana
Documentation

In general, goods imported into Botswana from outside the Southern African Customs Union - SACU (Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland) attract customs duties at rates outlined in the Customs Tariff Book. Customs duties are paid against prescribed declaration forms formally known as bills of entry. The commonly used bills of entry are CE 500 (for goods imported directly from supplier to the importer), CE 570 (for removing goods in bond directly), CE 600 (for removing imported goods from a bonded warehouse) and CE 614 (voucher of correction for CE 600).

Also importers that want to take advantage of rebates must file forms CE 100 and CE 100A with the Department of Customs and Excise.
