Goods valued at US$2,000 FOB or more are subject to a mandatory pre-shipment inspection. Contact: Bureau Veritas (305) 593-7878; fax (305) 463-7416. In addition, three copies of the commercial invoice, two copies of the bill of lading; and a separate packing list. While not usually required, a certificate of origin may be useful in expediting the clearance process.
