Documentation and Pre-Shipment Inspection
Most goods, regardless of value, are subject to a mandatory inspection. The Nigerian government abolished its Pre-shipment Inspection Scheme (PSI) for imports to Nigeria and reintroduce a Destination Inspection Scheme (DIS) effective as of the 1st of January, 2006.
