Indonesia Air Transport
PT. Indonesia Air Transport commenced operations during 1968, initially for Pertamina and its foreign oil company production sharing contractors. To date we provide a wide variety of quality aviation services to the oil, gas and mining industry within Indonesia and South East Asia, both o?n and offshore.

We also specialized in aero medical evacuation services, cargo, repair shop and third-party operation & maintenance, geophysical, survey aerial photography as well as air services for the developing tourism industry to the more remote regions of Indonesia.

We are now operating various type of fixed wing aircraft as well as helicopters such as BAC 1-11 and Dassault Falcon 20 jets, Beechcraft B1900D, Fokker 27-500 and Fokker 50 passenger/cargo aircraft, Bell 212, SA 365 C2, AS 365 N and AS 365 N2 Dauphin twin turbine helicopters.
The Company has made major investments in our own comprehensive maintenance facilities both in Jakarta and Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

We have developed a high standard in fixed wing aircraft and helicopters in-house overhaul capability in accordance with internationally accepted safety standards.

Our pilots and engineers received regular overseas training in order to maintain their proficiency and capability o?n the various types of aircraft in our fleet. Our capability is regularly safety audited by both domestic and overseas safety inspectors for whom we maintain an open door policy.

As a member of the Helicopter Association International we are proud of the fact that we have been awarded the HAI safety award for more then 20 consecutive years.

We are also in the process to be certified as ISO 9001 - 2000 Company which we expect to achieve in the very near future.
