Island Birds
Island Birds was formed in the year 2000 by retired USAir Captain Robert T. Lemire.

Having amassed some 36,000 flight hours throughout his career, "Captain Bob" initially launched the airline with just one airplane and himself as its sole employee. Bob has propelled the airline through years of impressive growth since, expanding the fleet to 7 airplanes and 15 employees.

The key to his success?

Bob has always focused the goal of Island Birds to be very much passenger service oriented. He modeled Island Birds' "MO" from the "golden years" of flying; the years that seem to be nothing but a distant memory these days. He prides his company on its providing the VIP pampering one seems only able to read about.

Reliable, safe, first class Air Charter. Nothing more, nothing less.
This, combined with his first rate, second to none staff and a perfect maintenance record, have kept Island Birds growing exponentially every year it's been in business.

"Thank you for flying Island Birds. We're honored to have you aboard."
