Jordan flag has three bands that are parallel to each other horizontally. On the top there is black, in the middle there is white and at the bottom green band is there. On the hoisting side of the flag , over these three bands there is a red triangle whose top point extends towards the flying side. On this red triangle, in the middle, a white star is there that has seven points. Jordan flag is designed according to the flag during Arab Revolt in World War I. All the colors and the star of the flag has specific religious significances.

Location: In south western Asia Jordan shares borders with Israel Sudi Arabia Iraq and Syria.

Area: 92, 300 Sq. km.

Official Language: Arabic
