HISTORY
— first Kazakh news agency was set up as an Orenburg-Turgay department of ROST.
1925 — the name is changed into KazROST.
1937 — under the control of the Council of Ministries as KazTAG.
— the name is changed into KazAAG according to the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan.
—Government decreed the establishment of the National Company Kazakh Information Agency «KAZINFORM».

OUR CORRESPONDENTS
KAZINFORM, among other news agencies of our country, has got a large network of its correspondents throughout including Baikonur. It has 17 correspondent bureaus.
