Lions Air
Forum Event in Davos, for instance. VIPs of the world-wide Formula One and WRC (World Rally Championship) business also count on Lions Air. ¥Born to fly...™ - Lions Air takes this slogan literally, when it is a matter of flying its customers to their destinations as efficiently as possible.
The Lions Air Group consists today of the following divisions:
Europe's PC-12 specialist
Lions Air operates four Pilatus PC-12s at present, making it one of the biggest fleet in Europe of these successful Swiss multi-purpose, high-performance aircraft. These PC-12s carry out daily business flights and feeder flights on charter to the user.
SkyMedia - the eye in the sky
Using specially stabilised (and so non-vibrating) Wescam systems that are installed on helicopters, the SkyMedia company produces first-class films from the air. Shooting from the air is a suitable medium for competitive sports, feature films, sports reporting or company videos. Together with its Belgian affiliated company, SkyMedia heads the European Wescam operator market.
Traffix - information right round the clock
Traffix headquarters are manned 24 hours a day and for 365 days in the year. They pool traffic information from all over Switzerland and pass it on promptly to various local radio stations. In this way millions of drivers are informed on a daily basis about current traffic problems. With large-scale developments, traffic is monitored by a helicopter which supplies live reports. J?rg Fleischmann, who invented Traffix, based the system on an American model, customising it to European requirements.
