Mandala Airlines
Founded in 1967, Mandala Airlines is one of the pioneers of commercial flight in Indonesia. Mandala is the only first generation private airline that managed to survive the financial crisis and has flourished as it expands its fleet, organization and operational capabilities to meet the challenges of fresh competition.
With flights connecting more than 20 large cities, Mandala is unifying the nation, providing the people of Indonesia with reliable, comfortable and affordable air travel across the length and breadth of the Archipelago, from Sabang Islands western tip to the easternmost point of Merauke Regency. Mandalas fleet currently includes Boeing 737-200, Boeing 737-400 and the recently added Airbus A320 aircrafts.
In the middle of 2006, Mandala officially became a subsidiary of Cardig International, a business group with long experience in air transport, cargo, logistics, courier service, catering, and other businesses. As part of Cardig International, Mandala Airlines is repositioning itself as the airline that provides the best service for its passengers.
Mandala Airlines unveiled its new logo on 1 November 2006. It signifies a dynamic business that keeps growing to reach new heights.
