Monaco Telcom
Monaco Telecom was created in 1997 following the government's decision to privatise the Principality's incumbent public telecommunications operator, the Office Mon»gasque des T»l»phones.

49% of Monaco Telecom's capital is currently owned by the British operator Cable & Wireless, 45% by the Soci»t» Nationale de Financement, which itself is wholly owned by the Monaco government, and 6% by the Compagnie Mon»gasque de Banque .

Monaco Telecom confirmed its situation as one of the leading world telecommunications operators. It has set new standards of expertise and development capabilities not only in its traditional areas of excellence, but also in leading-edge technologies such as mobile communications, satellite links and call centres.

Monaco Telecom, the Principality's long-time operator, has reorganized in 2006, in order to improve performance levels and broaden its line of products and services.

It is diversifying its offering and improving the quality of service provided in its four main areas of activity: fixed telephony, mobile telephony, television, and the Internet.

Large investments are carried out in 2007 in order to bring the 3G, the high flow with 15 Mbps and a digital network of television and high definition to the Monegasques.

In Monaco and internationally, its results prove its ability to evolve, innovate and anticipate in a high-tech sector in which it has become a leading player.

Its skills and expertise have been acknowledged and chosen by many countries outside Monaco, in particular in Africa, in Kosovo and in Afghanistan.

The satisfaction of all its contacts, customers and partners remains the vocation first of Monaco Telecom.

The purpose of the collaborators of Monaco Telecom is to put all their competences and their know-how in synergy, with the service of a double ambition: "Continue to grow and offer more to our customers".
