Moving Ecuador is an independent web-initative supporting several Ecuadorean organisations in their work towards a more sustainable Ecuador. Together with our Ecuadorean partners we are promoting responsible tourism.

That's why we work with the philosophy that small changes can make a big difference.
The world is a changing place, and we need to make different choices to keep it breathing. Development has not only created exciting opportunities, but it has also taken beautiful things from us.
By sharing experiences, knowledge and motivation with people in Ecuador and internationally, we can make a difference. Moving Ecuador shares insights about preservation and sustainability in Ecuador and works on a more responsible way of travelling in Ecuador.
Volunteer
By volunteering in one of the many projects in Ecuador you can change the world of many Ecuadoreans. Building a school or sharing knowledge can be an amazing contribution to this developing country and will enhance your travel experience and knowledge of the country.
Responsible travel
Ecuador is one of the most amazing travel destinations in the world. It holds a great biodiversity and is very accessible for travellers. We believe that by travelling responsibly you will discover that it is a more authentic and enjoyable way to travel.
OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY
Our online community consists of travellers and Ecuador fans from all over the world. Many have contributed to the website or some of our volunteering or fundraising projects. As an intern you will become part of the community, providing valuable information to others about Ecuador through our website and newsletter.
Our successes so far
Thanks to our global online community and Ecuadorean partner organisations, we have become the largest volunteering organisation in Ecuador, offering over 800 volunteers low-cost volunteering opportunities within our first year (2007). We support about 20 non profit organisations and dozens of volunteering projects around the country.
We already have hundreds of articles about Ecuador online and receive over 50,000 unique visitors each month.
