The Slovakia Flag was officially acquired on 1st January of 1992. Slovakian Ensign is comprised with three horizontal bands of color with similar size. The upper strip of Slovakia Flag is of red color; the middle one is blue while the underside band is tinged with red. In the direction of the left side of the Slovakian National flag is the state's coat of arms, which is outlined in white. The coat of arms signifies Slovakia's previous connection with Hungary and it undoubtedly an adapted edition of the Hungarian coat of arms. The cross of the arms symbolizes traditional Christianity while the mountains represent the Mountains as Tatra, Fatra and Matra. Blue, white and red are conventional Slavonic shades and jointly they frame the pan- Slavonic shades and denote Slavonic harmony and independence.
