Somafone Telecommunications Service Company (operating as Somafone) is Somalia's current leading Mobile
Telephone Operator. It was formed in 2003 as a fully owned subsidiary of Somafone FZ LLC of the Dubai Internet City,
Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Somafone FZ LLC acquired the operating license of of Somafone Telecommunications Service Company of Somalia 100% stake and management responsibility for the company.
Somafone's aim is to remain the leading Mobile Network Operator in Somalia. In order to achieve this, a strong focus has been placed on quality of service to our customers.
Somafone is and will continue implementing best practices based on international standards and best practices and our unique knowledge of the Somali market conditions. The result of this will ensure a superior quality of service that is customer focused and will benefit every subscriber.
With our fast growing subscriber base, we now have over 150 employees so as to keep up with this fast growing industry.
We also have a countrywide dealer network to handle distribution and selling of Somafone products and services.
