The name Swisster comes from a combination of 'Switzerland' and 'Napster'. The link to Switzerland is obvious and Napster was one of the first online communities. While the American music website is a peer-to-peer music sharing site, Swisster is dedicated to the ever growing English-speaking community in Switzerland.
Our goal is to both inform and represent the audience we are writing for. To achieve this, we have put in place a team of experienced journalists who will report on local and national issues. All Swisster stories have been thoroughly researched and aim to incorporate an angle relevant to our readers. Through profiles, news stories, features, corners and a weekly radio show, we hope to represent and bind the Anglophone expatriate community.
