Uralsviazinform Russia
Open Joint Stock Company Uralsvyazinform is the largest provider of telecommunications services in the Urals region, Russia.

The company was established as a result of the merger of six regional operators of the Urals region with and into Uralsvyazinform, an operator in Perm region. The six companies included OAO Uraltelecom (Sverdlovsk region), OAO Svyazinform (Chelyabinsk region), OAO Khantymansyiskokrtelecom (Khanty-Mansi AD), OAO Tyumentelecom, OAO Yamalelectrosvyaz (Yamalo-Nenets AD), and OAO Electrosvyaz (Kurgan region).

Our mission statement is ÎForming and meeting the customersÌ needs in telecommunications and information services, integration into the global information community of the 21st centuryÌ.

Our main shareholder is the state-owned holding OAO Svyazinvest with 53% stake. The rest of the shares are distributed among institutional investors, nominees, holders of ADRs, and resident individuals.

The shares are traded on Russian Trading System, Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICES) (ticker symbols ursi, ursip) and on Berlin, Frankfurt stock exchanges and the US OTC market (ticker symbols: uvyzy, uvypy).
