Vodacom Group's shareholders include Telkom SA Ltd (50%) and Vodafone Group (50%).
Vodacom Group has the majority stake in Vodacom Mozambique with local partners Emotel, Intelec Holdings, Lda a consortium of local business people and public figures. Dr. Hermenegildo Gamito of Emotel serves as the Chairman of Vodacom Mozambique.

Vodacom's coverage in Mozambique includes all major cities and provincial capitals, many other smaller towns as well as main road coverage. Besides Mozambique, Vodacom currently has operations in South Africa, Lesotho, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
